Man...I can't wait for my phone to come. It's been almost one week since it's been ordered, but still nearly two more weeks before it will be shipped on June 7th. A recent Engadget article reported that the the long wait for phones is due to a shortage in the LED screens that the Incredible uses.
In a talk at a Barclays Capital conference today, McAdam made it clear that component shortages were to blame for the high-end Android handset's general unavailability -- specifically the Samsung-sourced AMOLED display, which is seeing duty in more phones all the time and will likely be in short supply for a while yet.
